About

Kayla Anderson, Founder/Owner
Kayla Anderson was a military brat, moving from Nebraska to England, and finally landed in Oklahoma. She married her best friend, Zack, and together they have a son named Titus and a daughter named Zola. Kayla has always loved writing and telling stories. After receiving a master’s degree in management and working in non-profit fundraising for almost ten years, she decided to pursue a dream of gathering and sharing some of the stories of the incredible women around her. Out of that desire to share and encourage, About the Girls was born. Kayla is the host of the About the Girls podcast, writer, and owner of About the Girls. “I am most excited about reminding girls they are seen and loved by a God who exceeds all of our expectations.”

Lauren Frampton, Social Media Director
Lauren grew up in Moore, Oklahoma where she met her high school sweetheart, Ryan. They have a daughter, Anniston, and a son, Beckham. She has a passion for photography and a natural gift for telling stories through the images she captures. Lauren is the face behind social media and all things visual at About the Girls. “I am most excited about creating a place where other women can feel comfortable in their own skin while welcoming others differences.”
